Ken B. - ASM, CSP
Ken is the President of Swinter Group, Inc., bringing nearly 30 years of hands-on experience and leadership in snow and ice management. Starting as a kid clearing sidewalks and driveways, Ken has grown to lead large-scale operations that coordinate hundreds of crew members during major snow events in the St. Louis area.
Beyond local operations, Ken is a nationally recognized consultant, advising snow contractors and legal professionals across more than 30 states. He is also the founder and President of SG Advantage, LLC, a company providing innovative software solutions to the snow and ice industry nationwide. Ken holds the prestigious Certified Snow Professional (CSP) designation from the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA), which he has maintained for over 15 years and now holds for life due to his ongoing commitment to education. He also earned the Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) certification, emphasizing operational excellence and chemical application expertise. Fewer than 250 industry professionals have achieved the CSP designation, reflecting Ken’s elite standing. Ken has shared his expertise as an instructor at SIMA’s annual Symposium twice, most recently in 2025 and previously in 2011, underscoring his role as a respected industry educator and thought leader. His consulting experience spans the country—from Alaska to New York—while his operational expertise is rooted deeply in the Midwest. Whether working with international facility managers or local property owners, Ken offers a wealth of knowledge and practical solutions that address the full spectrum of challenges in snow and ice management. |
Nicole B.
Nicole is the Vice President of Swinter Group, where she plays a key role in aligning teams, streamlining operations, and driving marketing strategy across Swinter, SG Advantage, and Krown St. Louis. With a unique blend of creativity and analytical thinking, she also oversees the company’s IT needs and steps in wherever support is needed most.
A St. Louis native, Nicole holds a B.S. in Business/Marketing with a minor in Visual Communications from Truman State University. Her early career in media planning and accounting at local advertising agencies gave her a strong foundation in both detail-oriented execution and big-picture strategy. She later expanded her experience in the construction industry before bringing her diverse skill set to Swinter. Nicole has been part of Swinter’s journey from the beginning. Outside of work, she enjoys drawing portraits and spending time with her musically inclined family. |
Jason D. - ASM, CSPJason started his Swinter Group journey managing the parts and service department, quickly gaining hands-on experience in snow and ice management. His growing expertise led him to the account management team, and today he serves as Branch Manager of the Wise Office.
Prior to joining Swinter, Jason served with distinction in the United States Army as a Military Police Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and later as a Chief Warrant Officer and Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot. His military background shapes his leadership style and commitment to excellence. Jason is passionate about the snow and ice industry and dedicated to continuous professional development. He holds both the Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) and Certified Snow Professional (CSP) certifications from the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA), reflecting his commitment to industry best practices. |
Jim BJim brings nearly 30 years of experience to Swinter Group, encompassing every facet of snow and ice management, from office operations to field execution. His extensive background in sales, account management, and operations supervision has honed his ability to build lasting client relationships and lead teams that deliver top-tier service regardless of weather conditions. Jim’s commitment to safety and proactive approach make him a trusted and reliable leader.
Outside of work, Jim is an avid traveler and musician. He enjoys exploring new places and unwinding by playing the guitar. For a quiet escape, he can often be found fishing. These personal passions help him stay balanced and bring a well-rounded perspective to his life and career. |
Amanda B.
With over 20 years of experience in accounting across a wide range of industries, Mandi brings knowledge, adaptability, and a passion for numbers to every project. Known for her curiosity and constant drive to improve, she’s always exploring better, smarter ways to help businesses thrive financially. She focuses on building efficient processes that enhance financial clarity and support informed decision-making.
Outside the office, Mandi recharges in nature, whether she’s hiking with her dogs or floating down a quiet river. |
Ian H.
Ian is a sales specialist and account manager at Swinter Group, where he focuses on driving business growth through relationship-building and strategic account management. He’s passionate about exceeding expectations through every client interaction and believes in learning from each customer experience.
Ian brings 7 years of experience in landscape contracting, where he was responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of outdoor spaces. Since 2023, he has transitioned into snow and ice management, serving as a primary point of contact for national retail, logistics, and healthcare clients. Outside of work, Ian enjoys cooking new recipes with his girlfriend, collecting music, and strength training with his brother. |
Elizabeth H - ASMElizabeth was born in Southern Illinois and moved to St. Louis after studying Kinesiology at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Before joining Swinter Group, she gained valuable experience working in both mortgage banking and child care, two very different but complementary environments that helped her develop strong organizational and communication skills.
Elizabeth began her Swinter journey as a receptionist. Since then, she has grown into a versatile team member, taking on roles in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Human Resources while adapting to the company’s evolving needs. Today, she primarily focuses on customer service for SG Advantage, supporting various departments as needed. In 2024, she earned the Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) designation from the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA), reflecting her commitment to the snow and ice industry. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking, boating, climbing, camping, or simply relaxing with music in nature. |
Hailey P.
Hailey serves as the receptionist and administrative assistant for Swinter Group. Before joining Swinter, she worked in the theatre industry, where she built props and set pieces in the carpentry shop. Hailey graduated from Missouri State University in 2021 with two degrees: a B.S. in Theatre and a B.S. in Dance. She brings her creative and collaborative spirit to her work every day. Always greeting everyone with a smile, Hailey is happy to assist with whatever you may need.
Outside of work, Hailey enjoys going to the gym, playing board games, and dining out with friends. |
Kristen P - ASMKristen serves as the Executive Assistant and Sales Support Specialist at Swinter Group. With a diverse background in the restaurant industry, she has developed strong skills in marketing, private events, catering, and administrative duties, showcasing her organization and versatility. Kristen is excited to continue growing her knowledge in the snow industry and contribute to the team’s success. In 2024, she earned the Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) designation from the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA).
Originally from the Indianapolis area, Kristen graduated from Ball State University with a B.A. in Advertising/Marketing and a minor in Sociology. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, baking, drawing, watching football, and spoiling her beloved dogs. |
