Strategic Planning:
Given how quickly a winter weather event can change, it is imperative to have a strategic plan in place that is flexible enough to accommodate whatever Mother Nature throws at us. Long before the first snowflake, we spend a great deal of time creating site-specific maps that clearly illustrate priority areas, snow piling points, storm drains, refreeze areas, accessible parking, dumpster areas, loading docks, cart corrals and site-specific notes. These maps are used to train the crews that work on your property. |
Record-keeping:As one of the largest locally-owned snow removal contractors in St. Louis, record retention and organization is no simple task. Our proprietary system features real-time access to our crews’s activities, work-order status, and route progress. It also allows us to archive the data should it be needed in the future. In addition, we provide forensic meteorological services made possible by our combination of NOAA-certified weather reports and in-house weather and production tracking. We record pre- and post-season property inspections to quickly identify any potential hazards or damage that occurred over the winter. |
Trained Experts:
Trained experts are essential to snow and ice management. Swinter Group’s Certified Snow Professionals offer their services as expert witnesses regarding weather, site analysis, best practices, and industry standards. Also, every fall our crews attend mandatory training to stay on top of the latest technologies and techniques as well as best practices. In addition to our own professional staff, we hire private meteorologists with winter weather training to provide ongoing forecasts. |
Budget Management:Each client and property has its own unique set of parameters for managing their snow expenses. Swinter Group, Inc. has pioneered budget management programs by offering multiple pricing options, including hourly, per-occurence, flat-rate all-inclusive seasonal, and hybrid contracts. Moreover, we tailor the scope of work to meet your specifications as well as industry standards to ensure our performance meets your expectations. |
Operational Excellence:
Our dedication to operational excellence is the underlying principle in our culture and is evident through our processes and daily activities. We stock a large inventory of both granular and liquid deicers. Our 24/7 in-house mechanic shop ensures that our fleet remains in tip-top shape. Our crews are trained, equipment maintained, plans made, and records retained. This is how we protect you from the storm before, during, and after the winter weather arrives. |
